How do I request a tenant screening/background check?

There are two ways to request a screening request for an applicant:
 
Option #1 - Directly from an online application
 If you received an online application from the applicant through our service then:
1. Select the View Application button for the application on the Applications tab:
2. Go to the Decision tab and select the Background Check button:
3. If you have not configured the property for screening you will be prompted to configure the property:
4. You will then be prompted to enter the Rent Amount, Security Deposit Amount, Lease Details, and each applicant email if not populated from the application and select Submit Request:
 
You can also enter additional Joint Applicant emails by using the Add Joint Application button before you submit the request.  Please note any additional joint applicants will be considered in the decision once all of the applicants complete the screening process.  
 
Option #2 - Request from Screening Tab
If the tenant does not have an associated application in the system you can still request a background check directly from the Screening tab, however please be sure to first configure the property for screening under the Application/Screening Config section then:
1. Go to Applications and the Screening Tab
2. Select the Request Screen/Credit Check button:
3. You will enter the Rent Amount, Security Deposit Amount, Lease Details, and the email for each applicant and select Submit Request:
 
You can also enter additional Joint Applicant emails by using the Add Joint Application button before you submit the request.  Please note any additional joint applicants will be considered in the decision once all of the applicants complete the screening process.
